Meet Joe

Hello, I'm Joe.

I'm a husband and father. I know what it feels like to be tired, stretched, wanting to pray, and somehow never quite getting there. The day begins before you're ready. The to-do list is already full. And prayer, once again, is the thing that gets crowded out.

For years, I thought that doing more for God was the same as being close to Him. I studied theology, spent years guiding ordinary people through daily prayer, and saw again and again that what changes us is not simply doing more, but being with Him. Jesus says: "Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

That is why I created Prayer with Joseph: to help ordinary people build a simple, faithful rhythm of daily prayer, encounter the living God in the midst of ordinary life, grow in communion with Him, and be gradually transformed by His grace into the likeness of Christ.

Prayer Works

This is what prayer does.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds.

Matthew 7:7–8 — Jesus
